All too often online instructors, especially those at a distance from the campus, can feel isolated from their colleagues. The SCOPE (Supporting Collaborative Online Practices & Excellence) course shell in Blackboard is meant to be a one-stop shop for online faculty support and communication. The SCOPE site provides a repository of information and multiple forums to interact with other online instructors to help minimize the sense of separation.
